What is DI?
Destination ImagiNation® (DI) is an innovative educational program for any student. Teams of 5 to 7 students are challenged to solve one of six unique Challenges with no adult assistance. All Destination ImagiNation® Challenges offer an opportunity for students to explore engineering, architecture or drama. D:I gives students a chance to use brainstorming, research, teamwork, and time management to solve problems. For more information about Destination ImagiNation® click here.
Currently there are over 40 schools and over 600 students involved in the Montana Destination ImagiNation program. Teams from these schools compete at the regional level to earn a chance to present their solutions at the State Tournament. The top team in each age level of each challenge advances to the International Finals where they have the opportunity to compete against teams from 48 states, and many foreign countries. D:I is the largest creative problem-solving program in the world.
